Google Is Taking Over...

I just activated my google voice account and wow...pretty cool stuff.
When you call from this link (just click the image), you will reach my google voicemail set up specifically for my blogging. Here's how to do it:
1) Enter your own name and phone number.
2) Answer your phone when it rings.
3) Leave me a message.
Please feel free to leave any comments about the blog, or just type them below in the comment section.

I know it's really sad to say it, but with the new Google Nexus One and the rumors of a new iPhone coming out, my 2007 BlackBerry 8320 (which is in perfectly good shape) is starting to feel a bit like a dinosaur. There are a lot of rumors that Apple and AT&T will drop their exclusivity agreement this year, but who knows if that will happen. I've also read rumors of a new Apple tablet (smaller than a Macbook/bigger than an iPhone) and think I might wait for that. I've tried Android and liked it, but it had a few software and app issues...though it was a Motorola phone. Don't ever buy a Motorola phone.

So I'm stuck. I suppose I can just wait until spring and see what Apple reveals next. There's got to be an answer to Google selling awesome phones for so "cheap". I having been thinking about an iPhone for a long time, but they don't have an app for Google Voice. It's in the early stages of my experience with voice, but could this what tips the scales for Android?
Probably not. I really love what Google does, but for now i'm still thinking iPhone.

I'm confused by the technical stuff in this post... 'cuz I grew up in the 80s when computers were the size of a room and plotted to blow up the world.

What is this Google thing, exactly?
