Vacation (continued)

Thursday:
I went to my 8:00 Literature class this morning, making sure to leave early to get a parking spot and avoid any bad driversdue to frozen roads.  It didn't matter...I got there 17 minutes earlier than usual and I still got a crappy parking spot.  It makes me assume that Hamline is a "Commuter College".

After work I went to work to submit my tuition reimbursement request.  I haven't been to work for six days, and won't return for four more--on Monday afternoon.  It was slow and quiet at work today, which makes it a nicer place to visit, but I still got the hell out of there as soon as possible.

The rest of the day I spent lounging around watching last night's episode of LOST and two DVDs of Boston Legal that I got from Netflix.  It was finally the vacation relaxation that I have been looking for all week.

As Jenne got settled in to her evening nap, I started working on dinner.  I really love cooking and I really love cooking for Jenne.  Since Sunday I have made dinner for her every night except for last night, when I was in class (but I did pack her lunch on Wednesday).  I wish I could do it every day.  Someday, when I finish my teaching license and I quit T-Mobile, I will cook every night for my wife.
It's one of the little things I look forward to.

Unrelated/Non-vacation info:
My sister-in law is going to make me something, but I have to post this and offer five people gifts in return.  Yes, it's a chain letter and I normally don't get sucked into these, but I'll play along and make five people something too, if they follow the rules.
Here it is...

The Rules
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It’ll be done this year.
4- You have no clue what it’s going to be. It may be a story. It may be photography or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may sew or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Hey, I want something. You haven't updated who won. And what if I don't have a blog? It's discrimination--that's what it is!

Hey, if you want, Karen, I can post it on my blog... for YOU to make things for the recipients. : )
