In high school my friends and I started calling President Clinton, "Billy Club". Jenne and I are scheduled to go see Clinton speak on behalf of the Democratic Party, as well as Al Franken and Barack Obama. Of course, Jenne's taking a nap right now and the doors open in 90 minutes, so we might not actually make it.
I've never been so interested in politics as I have been this year, and even though I've only voted for one of the two major parties once, and that was the presidential election in 2004. So many people claim that you get more conservative as you age, but I am definitely becoming more liberal.
Deep down I know that the Electoral College has already decided the next president and no matter who wins I know it will probably be "more of the same", but I really do think this election is important. I think it's important to make sure that our government knows that we care, and that we won't allow them to take over too much of our lives. Of course, I also think it's important for our government to pull back the reins on people who continue to damage our country.
I'm excited to see Clinton speak. Aside from the fact that Letterman has a different George W. speech-blundering moment every night, I think Clinton is an outstanding speaker and I'm proud that I "grew up" with him in office, rather than George W. Hopefully we can get back on track and make our country "great" again.
Side note: I just watched a documentary on how much Walmart damages America. If you can sit through it, I encourage you to sit through even 20 minutes of the 97 minutes of "Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices".

Is that a picture of you and Jenne? She was much better looking at the wedding....
hi Ben! nice to hear your blogic. I shook Al Franken's hand, did I tell you? He was walking by me and one of his poor interns was holding a sign with an arrow behind him "Al --->"
Ben, Sharon says you and Jenne should totally be Bill & Hil, vintage style, for Halloween. That picture is eerie...
I am glad to see other people also think that you and Jenne could pull off the retro-style Clintons for Halloween!
